I know it's been a couple days, no word my job status - should know something soon. The stage went great, and it was
a pleasure to get to be in Chef Benjamin's kitchen great group of chefs.
Here are somethings bouncing around in my head and otherwise.
- Bought a 2qt Ice Cream maker as a graduation present (I got a gift card)
- At last counting I'm currently reading 3 book at the same time: Alinea, Cooking Dirty and Momofuku
- Still trying to figure out what my first run of ice cream is going to be.
- School's of thought. I actually had a post about it, and a rampant bitchfest about things that went down while on the competition team (mostly judging related) it was too negative so I scraped that.
- I feel as though I've lost some of my focus. Funny thing is, that when I'm in the kitchen (the stage or at home) my focus returns.
- Need to work on that focus as we can always improve.
- Needing to do a PSU market run on Saturday.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, a lot of things jumbling around in the ole bean. Even if I'm reading three books at the same time, it's another way I can focus. I love reading and reading about food - makes it even better.
